A Day Out With Thomas

It just so happened that Thomas the Train was in Denver, and Andrew had the opportunity to not only meet him, but take a ride with him! Mommy, Gamma and Skipper tagged along, but Andrew had the most fun.

Thomas was at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden.















Before we took a ride with Thomas, we explored the open railcars and engines on display at the museum.







































There was also a fire engine on the museum grounds, and Andrew got to climb into the cab and pretend to be a real firefighter.















He loves his new firefighter hat!















The time finally arrived for us to take a ride on Thomas. Andrew chose to ride on the third car, which gave us a great view of Thomas and Diesel, who helped Thomas pull all of the passenger cars.





























We rode on Thomas for nearly 30 minutes, and afterward we took our picture with Thomas himself!
