New York, New York

While Daddy was away on an extended field campaign, Mommy and Andrew decided to head up to New York City and meet Uncle Neal, Aunt Susan and Ben. It was a fun day! Andrew was thrilled to see Uncle Neal, Aunt Susan and Ben when we got out of our taxi cab.

We immediately hit the subway and headed over to the Guggenheim Museum. There were only two exhibits open, but those exhibits were perfect for the boys. Andrew saw for the first time works by Picasso, Cezanne, Renoir, Pissarro (Daddy's favorite!) and Degas, as well as many many others. He was pretty impressed with the white circles of the museum.

When we finished at the Guggenheim Museum, we ate a delicious lunch at Thailand Cafe. While Mommy and Aunt Susan went to an Off-Off Broadway play, Andrew attended his first KidRockers concert with Uncle Neal and Ben. Once the concert wrapped up, Uncle Neal took the boys on a walk over the Brooklyn Bridge (which Mommy has never done and has always wanted to do!).

After dinner in Little Italy, we headed back on the train. Andrew was so tired from the activities of the day, he fell asleep on the train and then on the car ride home. It was another exciting adventure in New York!
