Grams and Bumpa traveled to Washington, DC to attend a conference, so we packed up and headed down to spend the weekend with them. We were met by Aunt Susan and Ben, who also decided to spend the weekend with everyone. Grams and Bumpa's hotel was just a few blocks away from the Smithsonian. The boys were excited to go to the Air and Space Museum.
Andrew and Ben loved looking at the lifesize model of Kitty Hawk and learning about Orville and Wilbur Wright.
Andrew especially loved the exhibit about the Apollo missions and seeing the moon rocks.
Ben enjoyed learning about the SR-71 Blackbird.
