We were all outside. Mommy was pulling weeds in our watermelon garden, Daddy was watering the flowers in front, and Andrew was trying to convince Daddy that he needed to run in the sprinkler. When Daddy said no, Andrew disappeared inside the house and changed himself into his swimming suit. Commence sprinkler play.
Speaking of watermelons - we have watermelons! And peaches! And we had loads of apricots! There's a reason why New Jersey is called the Garden State, and it is in our backyard! We were in Maine and missed our blueberries, but it has been fun eating the rest of our fruit bounty.
Lastly, Andrew got his first tick this evening. He had been playing with the neighbor's dog and we are pretty sure he picked it up in their grass. Cue grossed-out Mommy. Ew.
