Sesame Place

Andrew is (daytime) potty trained! YAY!

As his reward for not having accidents and staying dry throughout the day - we'll tackle nighttime training later - we promised to take Andrew to Sesame Place. Our little Elmo fanatic was thrilled!

He immediately made a beeline for the rides. He loved riding Big Bird's Hot Air Balloon Race.

Before we had lunch, we stopped to see a live show of Elmo's World. Elmo was learning about Halloween and his friends Mr. Noodle and Telly Monster stopped by to say hello!

It was a great performance!

Andrew tried his hand at fishing. He eventually needed some help from Mommy and Daddy.

Going down Snuffy's Slides were next on his agenda.

Along with pushing the Twiddlebug Trains.

On our way over to the parade route, Andrew saw a huge clock on the ground and started telling us what time it was. He also told us we were going to be late for the parade!

The parade was lots of fun. We saw all of our Sesame Street friends - Big Bird, Snuffy, Oscar the Grouch, Zoe, Abby Cadabby, Rosita, Grover, Ernie and Bert, Telly Monster, Baby Bear, Cookie Monster and Elmo!

Abby was celebrating Sesame Place's 40th birthday.

After the parade, we discovered Cookie Monster's Mountain, which was designed for kids to climb up to the top and then slide back down.

Andrew never quite made it to the top, but he loved sliding down.

Andrew and Daddy tackled the huge cargo nets above Cookie's Mountain.

And Daddy, the lucky guy, actually lost his wallet while in the cargo net and had it returned to him about 20 minutes later by the people who found it. Nothing was missing, which is nothing short of amazing!

We closed up the park and on our way out, we stopped by 123 Sesame Street to take a picture.

Andrew has already said he wants to go back tomorrow.

We had a great time at Sesame Place!
