Another gorgeous day in New Jersey! We decided to head to our local orchard to pick some fall raspberries and soak in the warm sun. When we arrived, we learned that the raspberry patch was closed. Bummer! Andrew decided he wanted to explore the pumpkin patch instead.
Rather than pick raspberries, we headed over to the apple orchard to gather some apples for crepes, and Mommy wants to try a new apple crisp recipe she found on one of her favorite blogs. Andrew ate his first golden delicious apple, skin and all! Mommy and Daddy had to show him how to get it started, but once we took a few bites and he discovered how good fresh apples are, he didn't want to share his apple with us!
He ate, and ate, and ate that apple - core and all! You can see how little of the apple is left after Mommy and Daddy had filled up a bag of golden delicious, fuji and granny smith apples to enjoy throughout the week.
We are definitely heading back to the apple orchard to get more fresh apples before the end of the season!
