One of Mommy's old friends from way back when (Mommy has known him since she was five years old!), Chris, lives in College Station and it was the perfect opportunity to drive up and visit Chris and his family. Andrew and Mommy swam in the backyard pool with Chris' daughters, Kayla and Natalie, and ate a yummy dinner of hamburgers and salad cooked by Wendy. After dinner, Chris offered to take us out to his "office", which is really a playground for firefighters.
After a tour of Disaster City, Chris took us to see all of the fire engines and fire fighting trucks. Andrew was amazed at all of the big trucks. He couldn't take his eyes off of them, not even for a quick picture with Chris!
Andrew loved sitting in the driver's seat of the fire engines. Chris even showed him how to turn the siren lights on and off.

Kayla wanted to try on one of the oxygen masks that the firefighters wear when they go into a smoky fire.
Of course, Andrew had to try it on, too.
We had a great time in College Station and hope to get back soon!
