Run! Play! Be Free!

Our world has become a giant place of fear. And raising a kid in a fearful world is tough. We are bombarded with stories about children being kidnapped, children being abused, children suffering in one way or another. It is hard to not get wrapped up in all the fear and worry about your kid every waking moment of the day.

Nothing warmed my heart more than listening to Andrew laugh and play hide-and-seek with the girls next door. He was running through our backyard, climbing on the playground, chasing his friends and enjoying the gorgeous day. He was outside without many boundaries and having a wonderful time. Doing exactly what kids need to do.

No fear.

And that's the way it should be.
