Yearly Obligation

With the pending arrival of the holiday season, it is time to start thinking about sending out holiday cards.

The dreaded holiday cards.

It probably takes longer to sort through all of the pictures we take during the year in order to find THE perfect photos than it does for us to address and stamp the cards to send out to our closest family and friends.

However, we've discovered that Shutterfly is the way to go when it comes to holiday cards or, if you prefer to buck the political correctness trend, real honest-to-goodness Christmas cards. There are all sorts of designs and layouts to make your cards personal and unique. We did a message card last year and loved it. It was nice to send a little update about how we were doing, what adventures we went on, and how fast Andrew is growing up.

Somehow our holiday cards end up on our refrigerator and don't ever leave.

We also create calendars for both sides of the family. It is so awesome to have birthdays, anniversaries, and other important dates posted where we are sure to not forget them. Plus it is fun seeing the smiling faces of people we love every month.

Check your mailbox. A holiday card from our house will drop in the next few weeks. We can't wait to share it with you.
