Mommy's cousin Keith and his family moved to Virginia a few months ago and we've been wanting to head down for a visit. When we found out cousin Katherine was staying with them, we HAD to go and say hello.
It was perfect timing for a trip to Washington, DC to see the annual Cherry Blossom Festival.
The blossoms were gorgeous.
Andrew found quite a few trees that were just his size.
The blossoms smelled so sweet.
We went to see the cherry blossoms when Andrew was just over a year old and we had recently moved to New Jersey. It's amazing how fast time flies and how big Andrew has gotten.
The tidal basin was pretty crowded.
It didn't make the trees any less beautiful.
Here are the Igyartos! It was great to see them, and it is even better having them just a few hours down the road.
Along with the cherry blossoms, we saw lots and lots of daffodils. It was a lovely weekend!!
