While in New Mexico, we wanted to take Andrew on a couple of our favorite hikes. One was Tent Rocks, which is just south of Santa Fe.
The hike winds through gorgeous rocks and a slot canyon, which Andrew thought was fun to walk through and put his hands on both sides of the rocks.
There is a huge fire burning in eastern Arizona and the smoke didn't allow the normally spectacular views we see from the top of the mesa.
These are the tent rocks. The middle rocks were named by cousin Ben when he did this hike several years ago. He called them Boom Castle, Crash Castle, House Castle and Bad Castle. Andrew named the two rocks on the side Lightning Castle and Thunder Castle.
