The campground was lovely. We had a very secluded spot and we were within walking distance of a lake. Andrew desperately wanted to go down to the lake to dip his feet in the water...
... and throw rocks!
After the sun went down, we cooked up a delicious dinner of steak, salmon, potatoes, and tomatoes. It was delicious.
And after dinner, we had s'mores. So good!
After a night of snuggling in our little tent (we've decided to get a bigger tent after this trip), we woke up to crisp mountain air and took a walk back down to the lake in our pajamas.
This camping trip is turning out much better than our last one!

We packed up our camp and headed out to a nearby hiking trail to stretch our legs before we hit the road for home.
Andrew said he can't wait to camping next summer. We can't wait either.
The leaves were just starting to change and would probably be in their full glory by the next weekend. It didn't matter - we still enjoyed seeing the bright red, orange and yellow spots of color.
