The weather finally warmed up enough to take the kids outside to go sledding. It was lightly snowing, but everyone had a great time sledding down the hill and playing in the snow fort that Uncle Joel built.
The Christmas Eve mass was beautiful, and Andrew was mesmerized watching the candles that were lit while the congregation sang "Silent Night." After church, we attempted to get a good photograph of the grandparents with their grandchildren. Andrew was not agreeable to the photo opportunity.
So we bribed all of the kids with homemade Christmas cookies. It seemed to work.
