After Mommy picked up Andrew from school, we made a quick stop at the grocery store to get some milk and something for dinner. Andrew wanted to ride in the car shopping cart, which is a rare treat because typically those carts are already in use when we hit the grocery store. Once we were done shopping, Mommy maneuvered the large cart through the check-out line, paid for the groceries and headed out to the car. It wasn't until Mommy had unloaded the groceries and returned the car shopping cart that she noticed Andrew had helped himself to a bag of M&M's from the candy display in the check-out lane and ripped open the bag.
Mommy: Andrew! What are those in your hand?
Andrew: M&M's, Mommy! They are yummy!
Mommy and Andrew immediately walked back into the store so Mommy could pay for the M&M's and Andrew could apologize to the store manager for taking something that did not belong to him.
We have a little thief on our hands. Watch your bags of M&M's carefully.
