Ben and Uncle Neal invited Andrew and Mommy up to New York to join them at the Intrepid Museum for the day. We had talked about wanting to go visit the retired aircraft carrier, so we jumped at the opportunity!
The museum was incredible! The boys (and Uncle Neal and Mommy, too) had a great time!
There were old military planes and helicopters to look at on the runway.
Andrew and Ben were able to pretend to shoot down the enemy on the gun turrets on the side of the ship.

Both Andrew and Ben got to be the ship's captain and drive the Intrepid. The steering wheel was almost bigger than Andrew!

Ben and Andrew tried to fly a simulated airplane. Ben did a great job. Andrew kept crashing into the ocean (and laughed every time it happened).
There was a retired Concorde that we were able to walk inside of and explore.
The Intrepid Museum was very cool. The perfect place for grandfathers to take their grandsons!
