Daddy is preparing to depart on another extended field campaign, so he took Andrew and Mommy up to Boulder to see the airplane that is carrying his instrument. Andrew was a bit nervous to get into the cockpit, but liked looking at all of the buttons and screens.
Daddy showed him the seat where he sits when he gets to fly on the airplane.
Andrew was ready to participate and help Daddy with his research!
Andrew loved being able to touch the airplane.
Look! There's Daddy's blue instrument!
The best part was running underneath the airplane.
