Another day to explore New Jersey! This time we headed up north to Liberty State Park to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
After eating our picnic dinner, we ventured through the park and discovered a huge playground. Andrew was in seventh heaven.
We were surprised to find Santa Fe in New Jersey.
After spending over an hour at the playground, we decided to go on a search for an ice cream cone. We tried getting into Manhattan, but ended up in Jersey City instead. We found a ice cream truck and got huge cones to share, and took a walk down the Hudson River.
It was a lovely evening, and it was nice to see the New York City skyline from across the river.
